so basically i'm just adding big mac into the mix.
i might have to change macs saturation so it wouldn't become so jarring thanks to the suggestions of my tumblr followers (thanks guys!) but yeah either that or just move rarity into the smoke since it will help her pop out instead of blending in the bg
i'm also planning for when i finish this i'm making like 3 wallpapers if you guys are interested

hey, bro, i really like your artwork
and i know this sounds so n00b, but
which brush do you use?
i can see the round brush for the sketching
but it looks like the flat brush and direction changed
are you adjusting opacity, flow, or both?

What the... I am completely blown away by this. The way that they stand up totally freaked me out, I thought this was an artwork about aliens crash-landing on something at first, but then I saw the pony. I love it! The humanization is perfect, and I love the clothing and poses you've given them. This is one of the few times that I can say that this is one of the most beautiful artworks I have ever seen--mostly due to the fact that it's all upwards from here, yes? Really cool work, I can't wait to see where this goes. Best of luck!

Now for something constructive!

To keep Rarity from being lost in the background, it would also be a good idea to just crop out that negative space next to her for the final pic. But for the wallpaper version, moving her more into the smoke would definitely be a good idea. c:

Also the legs on Big Mac look a bit thin. Thicken 'em around his hooves so he looks more like a work horse. [link]
